Here
you can find how to do manicure at home like professional in minutes.
Required things:
Be
sure to have the following tools and products ready to go.
- Nail-polish remover
and cotton pads.
- Nail clippers,
- Cuticle remover.
- Hand/nail moisturizer.
- Base coat.
- Nail polish.
- Clear topcoat.
Remove any previously applied nail polish:
Start
by removing your old, chipped nail polish with polish remover and pads or
cotton balls. You can choose an
acetone-free polish remover if you have a light shade or an acetone remover for
darker shades. An acetone based nail polish remover is a bit harsher than non acetone
removers, but the acetone removers get the job done faster. Non-acetone
products require a little more elbow grease, but they're less damaging to your
nails and leave your cuticles feeling less dry and stiff.
Shape your nails:
Clip
your nails straight across to the length you prefer then file nails in one
direction. A slightly rounded nail shape or square-rounded edge is generally
the best way to go. If your nails are a lot longer than trim them with nail
clippers before you start shaping them.
Soak your nails:
Prepare
a nail soak by placing a few drops of face cleanser or almond oil in a bowl of
warm water. Soak your hands for 3 to 5 minutes.
Apply cuticle remover cream:
Apply
cuticle remover to cuticles to cut away the thickened skin around the nail. Avoid
this step if you don’t want to bother.
Remove excess cuticles:
Very
gently push back your cuticles from the nail with a cuticle pushing tool, but
don't push it too far because it can damage nail growth.
Clean nails:
Soak
a cotton ball in nail polish remover and clean nails. This preps your nails for
the polish. You want to have a clean surface before polishing.
Apply base coat:
Apply
a thin base coat to all 10 fingers. A base coat protects your nails from the polish
and protects nails from staining and prevents chipping.
Paint your nails:
Apply
your color polish in layers, allowing each layer to dry before proceeding to
the next. Apply two coats of color polish, followed by a top coat to add
shine.
