HOW TO REMOVE TAN NATURALLY WITH HOME REMEDIES:

   

Instead of spending money on expensive cosmetic products, you can try some natural treatments. There are many simple natural treatments that can lighten a sun tan and restore a lighter complexion.



You can apply these natural packs to get rid of the tan from your face, arms, hands, neck, back and feet the natural way. These age old home treatments need at least a week of regular use to obtain noticeable results against the tan and to get your natural color back.

CUCUMBER:


Cucumbers have a cooling effect that soothes the skin and helps eliminate a suntan. The vitamin C in cucumbers also will help keep the skin well moisturized.

Take a cucumber and cut it into two halves. Now grate the half cucumber and keep it in a bowl. Add 2 table spoons of milk and few drops of lemon juice to it and mix well.

Apply the mask on stay till it dries and washed off with normal water. Apply this weekly to get the best results.

Mix two tablespoons of fresh cucumber juice and one tablespoon of lime juice. Add a pinch of turmeric to it. Mix it well and apply it on the affected skin. Leave it for 30 minutes and then wash it off with water.

You can also rub freshly cut slices of cucumber on your skin.

LEMON JUICE:

The acidic property of lemon acts as a natural bleach in removing tan and fighting pimples.

Just take lemon juice and apply it directly on your hands. Let it stay for 15 minutes. Now wash it off with cold water. Lemon juice contains citric acid which effectively lightens the skin and fades away tan. However, this treatment can be a bit drying for your skin, so don’t forget to moisturize afterwards.

Take a table spoon each of cucumber juice, lemon juice and rose water and mix in a bowl. Apply with cotton on tanned areas, wait for 10 minutes and wash off with cold water.

Don’t use lemon juice directly on face as it may ruin the delicate layer and dry it up. It is however suggested that dilute lemon juice in a little water and then apply it on the face. Let it dry and wash it off with some cool water.

Add some sugar to lemon juice and apply it on the skin. Sugar is an excellent cleansing agent. Do this two or three times a week for fast results.

YOGURT:



Yogurt is very effective in minimizing a sun tan as it cools the skin as well as reduces redness and tightens the pores.

Take a cup of plain yogurt and add cucumber juice and tomato juice. Apply it on your face and neck and wait for 30 minutes and then rinse off with lukewarm water.

Take chilled yogurt in a bowl and add a pinch of turmeric to it and mix. Apply this paste for 20 minutes on your hands, face and neck before bathing. You can wash it off earlier during the winter season as it dries faster.

TOMATO:


Cut a tomato into two halves. Rub the inner side of the tomato on the skin of your hands, so that the seeds and juice come in contact with the skin, helping you to get rid of tanned skin.

Mix 2 table spoons of tomato pulp, 1 Table spoon of lemon juice and 1 table spoon of yogurt in a bowl and prepare mask. Apply this paste on your hands, face and neck and Let it dry for 30 minutes. Wash with cold water

The tomato juice may cause a sensation of itchiness in the beginning, but it will mellow down with regular application.

This pack works wonders in removing dark spots and pigmentation from sun tanned skin. The citric property of tomato, yogurt and lemon juice works as natural bleach. In addition, tomato juice works as a natural toner to shrink open pores and reduce oiliness of skin.

TURMERIC:


Turmeric is one of the natural skin care product that helps you in curing almost all skin problems. Mix turmeric powder with lemon juice and stir properly. Add 1 table spoon of raw milk to it. Apply this paste to your face and hands and leave it until it dries up. Thereafter, wash it with cold water to see the visible results

GRAM FLOUR:


Gram flour helps remove dead skin cells and leaves your skin bright and young.

Mix the gram flour in water or rose water and rub it all over the affected skin area.
Wait for 20 minutes and wash off with cold water. Do this twice a week for a few months for best results. You can also mix some lime juice and yogurt into the paste.

Mix 2 tablespoons of Gram flour, a pinch of turmeric, 1 table spoon of milk, and 1 table spoon of crushed orange peel in a bowl with cold rose water. Apply on clean face and let it dry for 20 minutes. Moist the dried areas by sprinkling water on it and slowly remove the pack by scrubbing gently in clockwise and anti-clockwise direction. Apply this pack once in two days for effective exfoliation and tan removal.

ALOE VERA:


Aloe Vera is a great natural healer. It helps to relieve sunburn and fades tan. You can use the sap from a broken leaf directly on your skin. Apply this liberally and use regularly.
Mix a little rose water with the Aloe Vera gel and apply on your skin. Aloe Vera gel will lighten the skin within a week, if applied daily to the affected area. It also helps cleanse and nourish the skin.

Scoop out 2 table spoons of aloe Vera gel, add 1 table spoon of orange peel powder and 2 table spoons of lemon juice. Mix well to form a smooth paste. Apply this pack on the sun affected areas and leave it on for 15 minutes and then rinse with cold water.

Take two spoons of aloe Vera gel and mix with half that amount of tomato juice or lemon juice. Apply this on your face and other areas and keep it for half an hour. You can add a little bit of turmeric to the mix for better result.

POTATOES:


Potato is loaded with vitamins, minerals, protein and fibers and hence works as natural bleach. Potato juice helps treat skin aging, blemishes and sun burn. It sooths the skin and calms it. Extract the juice of one potato using a grinder, mix a table spoon of lemon juice with it and apply on face and other affected areas. Let it dry for 30-40 minutes. Wash off with cold water.

Cut a raw potato into half and rub its moist, exposed flesh on the affected areas. Let it dry and rinse off. Do this daily to see results.

Peel the skin off two to three medium-sized potatoes, cut them into chunks and make a paste. Apply the paste generously all over the affected skin area. Let it dry for about 30 minutes and then wash it off with cold water.

BUTTER MILK:

Butter milk helps in soothing skin and healing blisters and oatmeal acts as a natural scrub that exfoliates skin, removes blackheads and dead cells. Mix 2 table spoon of oatmeal with 3 tablespoons of butter milk and apply on face and body. Gently massage in circular motion. Let it stay for 15-20 minutes and cleanse with water.
