Choose your concealer first:
Concealer
comes in a variety of shapes and colors. So first analyze your skin to
determine what type of concealer you need. If you trying to cover up birthmarks
choose a concealer that is tinted green or yellow. For under eye circles and scars
use a concealer 1-2 shades lighter than your natural skin tone.
To get a correct color match concealer try on your
face.
Before
applying the concealer wash your face with a gentle face cleanser and apply a
moisturizer. Then apply concealer on your face.
Prep your eyes with concealer:
To
cover dark under eye circles, apply three dots of concealer under each eye.
Start at the inner corner where skin tends to be darkest, then under the pupil
and the third on the outer edge.
Never rub the concealer in around your eyes, as the
skin here is damaged very easily. Simply pat or dab the concealer with the
brush in order to merge it.
Apply your
concealer to spots:
If you have any acne, dark spots, sun spots, scars or
birthmarks dab your concealer onto the top of each mark, then blend softly
outwards to your skin.
Set your
concealer with foundation:
Once applied
the concealer on face and eye add a layer of foundation over the top of your
concealer. You can also use a cream or liquid foundation, but you will have to
add an additional setting powder over the top. Spread your foundation on
face. Use a translucent setting powder with a large brush over the top of your
foundation to set it for a solid 12 hours.
Use a brush to reach the inside corners of your
eyes and under your lash line; make sure that you cover every part of your face
that also has concealer.
