HOW TO APPLY:

Step 1: Stretch the lips and start at the center, putting on the lipstick to the corners.

Step 2: Blot the lipstick with a tissue. Make sure the lipstick has not smudged over the line of your lips.

 MY REVIEW:

Lakme 9 to 5 matte lipsticks are soft and smooth in texture. Some long stay lipsticks are little creamier and then settle into a matte finish but these are quite smooth and creamy during application. These are not creamy but rather powdery in texture and gives matte finish right from the start. In addition to being smooth, they are amazingly pigmented. Single swipe gives full saturated color.

The shade selection is quite lovely with pinks, peaches and everyday wear shades.

Packaging is gorgeous and the scent is mild and pleasant. These lipsticks have a super matte finish. At the same time, they are not overly drying. Some of the shades have fine shimmer and doesn’t settle into lines. The darker shades leave a mild stain behind after removal but not with the lighter shades. The shades are suitable for all skin tones and price is justified for the quality.
